Harrison Dunn took another step forwards this week by moving closer towards competitive times around Teesside Autodrome. The number 18 driver - following in the footsteps of his Father who bore the same number nearly 30 years ago - really pressed on around his local circuit and is starting to show his grit, determination and growing confidence. "Harrison is now showing good pace so after some work on race formats and flags he will be competing sometime soon" said Dad.

"It was Harrison's first time on track with lots of faster cadet karts and he was not a bit fazed. Only one power spin and he was on full power around lots of the circuit." said Grandad Ron of Amaron Racing.

Harrison had a watershed moment by not only going sub 1 minute on the West circuit at Teesside today but then went out on the 'big circuit' - the National Circuit in amongst the other race Bambino’s testing...and did brilliantly! Most importantly enjoyed it too - he went out 3 times and each time went faster and had big smile on his face when he came back in 😃 💪🏻 💨🏁👌🏻

Harrison & sister Scarlet Dunn had their first outing of the year in their Bambino Karts at Teesside Autodrome this weekend.

7 year old Scarlet tried out her new Wright Centaur Kart on the West circuit and flew around, recording some good lap times. “I really enjoyed the new new kart and I’m looking forward to racing here in February” she said.

It was the first practice on a big circuit for 5 year old Harrison and he gradually built up speed, shaving over 6 seconds off his lap time by the end of the day.

“We’re so proud of them both - Scarlet did some great lap times and Harrison was very sensible and mature and is really coming on” said Dad Anthony. The pair are supported and run by Amaron Racing.
